These terms are the ground rules for using ThumbGrab at thumbgrabs.blogspot.com. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it. We've tried to keep the language straightforward.
1. What ThumbGrab is
ThumbGrab is a free tool and blog that helps you preview and download the publicly available thumbnail of a YouTube video, plus guides about thumbnails and video design. It is run as an independent project and has no connection to YouTube or Google. See our Disclaimer for more.
2. Who can use it
Anyone may use the site, provided they follow these terms and the law where they live. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to read this with you.
3. How you may use the tool
- Use it with public videos only.
- Use downloaded images in ways that respect the rights of their owners, such as personal reference, study, and work on your own thumbnails.
- Get the owner's permission before publishing or selling someone else's thumbnail.
4. What you may not do
- Pass off someone else's thumbnail as your own work.
- Use the site to break the law, harass anyone, or infringe another person's rights.
- Send automated bulk requests, scrape the site, or try to overload or disrupt it.
- Attempt to get around security measures, or copy our site design, text or code and republish it as your own.
5. Images and ownership
Thumbnails belong to the people who created them. We don't host or own them, and using our tool doesn't transfer any rights to you. You are responsible for how you use anything you download. The site's own design, text, code and branding belong to us, and you may not reproduce them without our written permission.
6. Third-party platforms
The tool depends on YouTube's servers. Your use of YouTube itself is covered by the YouTube Terms of Service, and we have no control over changes YouTube makes.
7. Availability
We aim to keep ThumbGrab running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free or work for every video. We may change, pause or remove features at any time without notice.
8. No warranties
The site and tool are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, to the extent the law allows.
9. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ThumbGrab and its owner are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss that arises from using, or being unable to use, the site, or from how you use images you download.
