Please read this page before using ThumbGrab. It explains what the tool is, what it isn't, and where your own responsibility begins.
We are not YouTube
ThumbGrab is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to YouTube or Google. "YouTube" and the YouTube logo are trademarks of Google LLC. We use the name only to describe what the tool works with.
Thumbnails belong to their creators
Every thumbnail you can preview here was made by someone else, or by you. ThumbGrab doesn't host, store or own any of them. The tool simply points your browser at images that YouTube already makes public. Being able to download an image does not give you the right to reuse it.
Saving a thumbnail for private study or reference is one thing. Publishing it, selling it, or presenting it as your own is something else, and may need the owner's permission. You are responsible for deciding how you use anything you download. If you want to read the platform's own rules, start with the YouTube Terms of Service.
Information, not advice
The guides and articles on this site are written for general information. Nothing here is legal, financial or professional advice. We aren't lawyers, so if a copyright question affects your business or you're in a dispute, please speak to a qualified professional.
No guarantees
We try to keep the tool accurate and available, but it's provided "as is". Because it depends on YouTube's servers and file formats, which can change without notice, we can't promise that every size will exist for every video, or that the tool will always be online. We aren't responsible for results that differ from what you expected.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to websites we don't run, such as YouTube and Google pages. We don't control their content or their privacy practices, and a link isn't an endorsement.
Your responsibility
By using ThumbGrab you agree to use it lawfully and respectfully, and to take responsibility for what you do with any image you download. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or relying on its content.
Questions or concerns
If you're a rights holder with a concern, follow the steps on our DMCA and copyright page. For anything else, use the Contact page. You may also want to read our Terms and Conditions.
